The NOX difference

Short missions.
Lasting progress.

Between Raids, return to Home, your private base on the coast.

01 // Progression

Keep building your character.

Your Home, stored items, skills, statistics, and levels are saved between Raids. Progress from level 1 to 200 and earn useful rewards.

How the 100-player limit works

Up to 100 players online at once. This limit includes all players in private Homes and active Raids. You keep your place when moving between them. Each player counts only once.

Keep your progress. Risk your equipment. A Raid fits into an evening. If you die, other players can take your equipment and sell it on the player Market.

Each Raid in four steps

How to play NOX.

Up to 15 players. Teams compete. Prepare, enter the city, complete your mission, and escape. Each Raid combines Project Zomboid survival with a clear time limit.

  1. Prepare at Home. Choose a contract, repair your equipment, and buy supplies from traders or the Market. Only take items you are willing to lose.
  2. Take the boat. Go alone or with a team of up to three. Other teams can join the same departure until boarding closes.
  3. Enter the city. Your team enters through a sewer opening. Find loot at marked locations and complete your contract. Other teams may be searching the same buildings.
  4. Escape by boat. Signal at your assigned extraction point. If you escape, your collected items, their condition, and your progress return Home. If you die, your carried equipment stays on your body for other players to take.

Watch the time

The danger grows.
Know your way out.

Three phases. One shared timer. Reach your boat before time runs out.

25 min // Rising Explore the city, find supplies, and work on your missions.
15 min // Apocalypse Zombies become faster and harder to kill.
5 min // Extinction The danger is highest. Reach your boat before time runs out.
How to escape

Enter through the sewers. Leave by boat.

A boat takes your team to the quarantine border. You pass through a decontamination route into the sewers. This route only goes into the city. To return Home, reach your assigned boat extraction point by the river. Signal with a flare and stay in the open for 15 seconds. Other players can see the signal too.

Inside the game

100 missions.
Four traders.

These screenshots show the current NOX menus. Track your campaign, trade with four traders, and manage your items and money.

04 // Quests

100 missions. Four traders.

The Missing Convoy is the story campaign, told in five parts. Four traders give you contracts to find items, hunt targets, investigate locations, recover vehicles, and escape from the city.

Trading at Home

Buy what you need.
Sell what you find.

Select a trader to see their contracts, the supplies they sell, and the items they will buy. Your Humidor is your money balance, shown as cartons, packs, and single cigarettes.

More about buying and selling

BUY // Available supplies Buy food, water, medicine, tools, and equipment for immediate use. Each item shows how many you can still buy, when your stock limit resets, and the full price.

SELL // Items you can sell The trader checks your carried items and all ten Home crates. Choose an item and quantity. The payment goes straight into your Humidor. Higher trader trust gives you better prices.

The return Home

See what you earned.
Plan what comes next.

Your rewards get their own moment. Matching items are grouped together with their icons and quantities. Review each page before confirming the haul.

Keep growing through 200 character levels. Your profile shows the next milestone, your extractions, and your time in the city.

The player Market

Cigarettes are the in-game currency.

How item values work

Each item has a base value in cigarettes. This depends on how rare it is and how much it costs to craft. Crafting costs include materials, required skills, and tool wear, with a limit on wear costs. Traders, stored items, and the Market use this same base value.

Trade with the four traders for immediate purchases and payments. Or offer an item on the player Market at your own price. Pay the displayed 5% listing fee, then wait for another player to buy it. Each offer shows the exact item, its condition, and its price in single cigarettes. Change and seller payments are automatic.

Traders, Market, and your Humidor
  • Traders Buy and sell immediately. Higher trust gives you better prices.
  • Market Trade with players. Check the item, its condition, and the seller's price.
  • Humidor Your money balance, shown as cartons, packs, and single cigarettes.

Friends, travel, and chat

Manage your team and your next Raid.

03 // Parties

Team up with friends.

Add friends and form a party, a team of up to three players. Mark yourselves ready to leave together. Other teams can join an open departure before boarding closes. Players who arrive later use the same Raid timer; it does not restart.
